SIP calculator
See what a fixed monthly investment can grow to at your expected return over any number of years.
How it works
A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) invests a fixed amount every month. Formula: value = A × ((1 + i) to the power m minus 1) ÷ i × (1 + i), where A is the monthly amount, i the monthly rate (yearly rate ÷ 12) and m the number of months.
Example: 10,000 a month for 15 years at 12 percent comes to about 50.5 lakh, from 18 lakh invested.
Questions
What is an SIP?
An SIP is a habit of investing a fixed amount every month, usually into a mutual fund or ETF, regardless of market level.
Is the SIP return guaranteed?
No. The calculator assumes a steady return. Real market returns vary year to year, so treat the result as an estimate, not a promise.
