MTS Institute / Founder
Purvang Gandhi
Founder and mentor of MTS Institute. Systematic trader, author and researcher, based in Mumbai.

Thirty years, three roles
Purvang Gandhi has spent about thirty years in the markets, roughly ten in each of the three roles that make up the market. As a market external he invested and speculated with his own money. As a market intermediary he worked on the side that earns from the flow of the market. As a market internal he built a system to trade for a living.
He built that system the way a scientist splits a molecule: he broke it into smaller parts, tested each part on its own, and rebuilt it stronger. The lesson that came out of it is the idea behind MTS: decisions made by written, tested rules beat decisions made by feeling.
Three services from three roles
Each role became a service. Ten years as a market external led to Origio Research, for market externals. Ten years as a market intermediary led to iamb.club, for market intermediaries. Ten years as a market internal led to MTS Institute, for market internals. Together they form one bridge from retail thinking to institutional thinking.
Books and frameworks
Purvang is the author of fourteen books in two series on Amazon: the seven book M.I.N.T. A third series, the twelve book MIND Framework, is coming soon. See all the books. He also teaches the Udemy course on building a mechanical system in TradingView.
